Manufacturer's warranty

Only original spare parts from us will fit your FLÖTOTTO product. Spare parts that you can easily replace yourself can be ordered from us. For example, castors and glides for many chairs and tables.

There are many reasons to choose us and our sustainable school furniture. However, one particularly important criterion for us is our quality management. It goes without saying that we are ISO 9001:2015 certified in all Flötotto companies in Germany and abroad. However, we do not rest on this high standard of an integrated quality management system and go one step further:

The magic word is Poka Yoke and stands for a concept of continuous quality improvement by avoiding (Yoke) unintentional errors (Poka). It is a method of preventive quality assurance to increase and safeguard product quality and production process quality! The core of this approach is that the materials and tools required in the production line are designed and arranged in such a way that errors do not occur in the first place or that any errors that do occur can be detected immediately.

The aim of Poka Yoke is to avoid the occurrence of a defect or its transmission by checking all parts. The claim and basic idea is the complete elimination of defects (zero-defect production). The Poka Yoke principle is applied on two levels: in the development of products and in their manufacture.

Creativity in product design is important in order to avoid operating errors through the design (error prevention) and to eliminate process errors despite incorrect operation (error robustness). This is why the Poka Yoke philosophy does not begin in production, but in product design.

We start accordingly with our product development and take into account all factors for ecological and economical zero-defect series production. For example, each of our products is given an irreversible serial number. This enables us to trace when and with which specific variants a product was manufactured by us, even after many years.

We know what we are doing and therefore grant you an extended guarantee of 10 years on our products without hesitation.

We grant you an extended warranty of 10 years on all products. The warranty covers defects that are attributable to material faults and manufacturing defects under normal use. Our guarantee covers all necessary spare parts, but not labor and transport costs. Natural wear and tear (e.g. signs of use on powder-coated frames, normal wear on glides and castors and gas struts) is also not included in the guarantee.
